Wavebreaker Productions was founded by Marissa Hankinson and we are here to help entrepreneurs, authors and leaders share their stories through a variety of mediums from print media through to digital media including podcasting. What began as a local idea has grown into a global service built on the belief that every voice deserves the right audience.
We make public relations simple and strategic. From podcast guest appearances to broader media opportunities and content amplification, we manage the entire process so our clients can stay focused on their business while we grow their visibility, credibility and influence.
With a growing international network of media, podcasts and strategic partners, we connect clients to the right audiences across Australia, the UK, the US and beyond. Every placement is amplified, transforming exposure into credibility, visibility and long term opportunity.

Marissa brings more than 30 years of experience across operations, leadership, strategy and business growth. She has worked with organisations through change, challenge and expansion, and understands that good ideas only work when they can be delivered in the real world.
Originally from the UK, Marissa ran her own business before moving to Australia and starting again, personally and professionally. That experience shaped the way she works today: practical, honest and focused on helping people find the courage and clarity to put themselves forward.
As co-founder of Wavebreaker Productions, Marissa helps business owners, experts, authors and leaders shape their story, build their visibility and become trusted voices in their industry.
She is also an author and collaborative writer. Marissa contributed to 20 Secrets to Maximising Your BNI Membership and will be featured in Voices of the 21st Century, due for release in February 2027. Her writing sits naturally alongside her work at Wavebreaker, because at the heart of both is the same belief: stories matter, but they matter most when they are shared with purpose.
Now based in South Australia, Marissa is supported by a strong network of business owners, collaborators and cheerleaders. Outside of work, she is grounded by family, community and the occasional interruption from a much-loved dog.
